How Marvel’s Eternals Got Universal Laws Wrong
(warning spoilers)

 A short overview.

By Lisa Long

Marvel’s Eternals perpetuates the idea/myth that you have to earn and obey the “Celestial” to be in “its” favor.

Source/God/Goddess, “Celestials,” only LOVE (or they would not have that kind of power).

Another falsehood is that Celestial consciousness rising/birthing destroys all that came before it.

Source/God/Goddess, “Celestial,” consciousness rising/birthing incorporates and enhances all life. And that life has freewill choice to join it at the higher levels, or not.

And that a “Celestial” would create “Deviants.” Human Beings create dark things when they are out of alignment and on lower dimensions focusing on fear.

Source/God/Goddess, “Celestial,” consciousness creates the potential for all creation (as we are in duality – up/down, hot/cold, love/evil, etc.), but Source only focuses on the positive energy.

However, the show “Eternals” creators got so many things right! Beautiful graphics and visuals. Great acting, including some older actors and the heroes having human flaws, etc.

It is a great show, but a bit misleading (as almost every other show) about how the Universe works. I hope to change that by helping creators incorporate more Universal Laws into their creations. Contact me if you want to know more. Btw, we are all eternal 🙂

Do films with positive messages make more money than those without?

 Stephen Follows 5 Comments September 7, 2020

One of the features I love most about movies is their ability to give us shared stories which entertain, inspire and soothe us. And in trying times, this function becomes ever more essential.

In the 1940s, musicals provided a colourful escape from war, stories of rebellion in the 1970s gave hope to audiences losing faith in political systems and modern-day superhero movies provide easy delineation between good and evil in murky times. So what will be the escapism of the 2020s?

Regular readers will know that I subscribe to MGM co-founder Samuel Goldwyn’s belief that “It is difficult to make forecasts, especially about the future”. Therefore, I won’t pretend to know what the next decade holds for on-screen stories. But I do want to share something I found while playing around with a few of my movie datasets which I think may be relevant.

I studied the financial performance of 4,271 movies which were released in the past two decades and looked for patterns with their levels of positivity… continued at link.

Will Smith and Michael Hauge teaches you how to tell a profitable story

How to tell an engaging story. The keys to success Laura Leigh Clarke sat down with Will Smith (yes Men in Black, I am Legend, Pursuit of Happyness, Will Smith!) and Michael Hauge, story and script consultant as they shared the SECRET SAUCE that goes into creating Will’s BLOCKBUSTER scripts.

The Future is “Immersive Experience” In Film

The movement in media is toward on-demand streaming, live video, and immersive experiences.

Studios and theaters are having a hard time attracting audiences with NetFlix, YouTube, Facebook, and other free media or almost free on small screens available everywhere. These are what we call “disruptive technologies” and more of them are coming.

The world is moving fast now and the movie business needs to keep up to stay competitive and relevant. In order for studio and film producers to stay highly profitable they need to create virtual D “Immersive Experience” in theaters. The technology is already being tested and used all over the world. (see below)

These movie business professionals need to provide an experience that people can’t get at home on their small screens including feeling the chairs and floors moving, smelling the major scenes of the films (i.e.: the ocean, exotic flowers, smoke (with a disclaimer on screen), rippling surround sound and an all-around “immersive experience” to draw in the big audiences. Everything is moving forward and we all have to keep growing.
